South Africa has announced that its three week lockdown will be extended by another fortnight.
The country has more than 1,900 confirmed cases of Covid-19.
President Cyril Ramaphosa said there was clear evidence that the lockdown was already limiting the spread of the virus.
He also announced that senior politicians would be donating a third of their salaries towards a fund to help those most affected.
The BBC's Africa correspondent, Andrew Harding, has been for a drive round Johannesburg, to ask people how they are finding the lockdown so far.
