Security Analyst Adib Saani, says the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS, must explore other diplomatic options such as rough diplomacy to resolve the volatile political environment in the Sub-region.
He said ECOWAS must collaborate with other international partners like the European Union(EU) for support in dealing with the issue.
Mr. Saani was speaking in an interview with GBC News in Accra. He said he is opposed to imposition of sanctions which usually ”emboldens militants, and encouraged the body to issue a strong warning to that effect”.
