I am not and will never be a politician - Pastor Adeboye clarifies

The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has clarified that he’s not and will never be a politician.

He made this known in his message at the April 2022 Thanksgiving Service holding at the National Headquarters, Èbúté Metta.

He pointed out that:

He said; “I am a pastor, I am not even a prophet. I hear God once in a while. My assignment has nothing to do with partisan politics. Don’t distract my attention.”

“The only reason I have never voted is because if I vote for anyone I will be unjust to any of my children. I am the father of all.”

“All I am saying as a Nigerian is that you must cast your vote. You have a duty as a Nigerian to register, vote and make your vote count. You cannot sit down, fold your arms and refused to vote and then complain about the government.”

“I have never said to my members this is the political party you must belong to. In Redeemed Church every party is well represented.”

“You must register, you must vote, you must sit after you have voted and make sure the votes are well counted. Make sure there is no rigging.”

“You have a duty to belong to any party of your choice

You can’t refuse to vote & then complain about the government”

“I don’t care which political party you belong to.

I don’t care who you vote for.

Do your duty.”

“Why are you asking your children to show interest in Politics, well witches are showing Interest, so should Christians go to sleep.
