Nigeria’s aviation industry will see a boost with the launch of the 15 million-litre Joint User Hydrant Installation 2 (JUHI-2) jet fuel depot, starting operations on October 17, 2024.

Located near Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, the facility is jointly owned by seven companies and features advanced designs, including modern filtration systems and fire prevention measures.

JUHI-2 aims to resolve the long-standing aviation fuel crisis by ensuring steady fuel supply to major airports.

This development will enhance flight operations, stabilize ticket prices, and reduce the burden on airlines, especially as Dangote refineries join as a key supplier.
