Top 10 African countries with the healthiest economy mid-2024 - World Bank

Real GDP growth in Africa is linked to improved living conditions and development goals, with many countries experiencing positive trends despite recent World Bank projections indicating slight declines for some sub-Saharan nations.

According to the World Bank's Africa Pulse report, Rwanda leads with a projected GDP growth of 7.6% in 2024, followed by Mauritania and Côte d'Ivoire at 6.5%.

Other countries with significant growth include Benin (6.3%), Ethiopia (6.1%), and Uganda (6.0%). The overall outlook for sub-Saharan Africa is slightly tempered by ongoing conflicts, particularly in Sudan, which could significantly impact regional growth.
