A Nigerian investigative panel has refuted claims that transgender socialite Bobrisky, sentenced to six months for "naira abuse," lived outside prison and didn't serve her full term.
However, it confirmed she received special privileges, including family visits, a furnished cell, a humidifier, a fridge, a television, and a phone.
Bobrisky was sent to a male prison after a court dismissed money laundering charges.
The panel, set up by the Ministry of Interior following bribery allegations, stated it would investigate if these privileges resulted from corruption.
Bobrisky denies bribery claims and insists the viral audio alleging her involvement is not her voice.
