Danish Superliga side, Viborg has arrived in England to face West Ham United in the Uefa Europa Conference League final playoff round.
Unfortunately, the Danish club did not travel with two of its key players. The players include Nigerian player Ibrahim Said and Gambian forward Alassana Jatta.
The players could not have their visas approved on time and hence will be massively missed by Viborg when the team takes on Viborg in London.
The Danish Superliga club only secured qualification to the final playoff match last week after seeing off Faeroese club B36 Tórshavn.
While processing of visa to enter Britain takes weeks, the club did not have that luxury.
Despite many efforts, the visas could not be processed and hence Nigerian player Ibrahim Said and Gambian forward Alassana Jatta will watch the match from their residence in Denmark.
It is a big blow for Viborg and could affect the result of the game against West Ham United later tonight.
