The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), has sent a goodwill message to World Boxing Organisation (WBO), Super Bantamweight Champion, Isaac "Royal Storm" Dogboe (20-0, 14 Ko's), as he makes his second defence against Emanuel Naverette of Mexico (25-1, 22Ko's).
The bout scheduled Saturday, December 8, at the Madison Square Garden, New York, United States of America (USA), would see the Ghanaian boxer, make a mandatory defence against the Mexican boxer.
According to a statement released by the local boxing governing body, they have been monitoring the champion’s level of preparation and training schedule of the boxer ahead of the fight and remained confident of positive results regardless of the strength of the opposition.
"The GBA is confident that Isaac Dogboe would successfully retain his title and continue his forward march towards chalking many more successes in the ring," the statement added.
The GBA in the statement also sent a goodwill message to Richard Commey in his upcoming International Boxing Federation (IBF) World Lightweight title fight in February 2019
