8th Energy Awards: Stakeholders call for increased local content participation

The 8th Ghana Energy Awards recognized 34 individuals and companies for their contributions to the energy sector. Kwadwo Aduhene and Nana Akua Agyei were named Male and Female Energy Personalities of the Year, respectively.

Dr. Edwin Provencal and Ing. Samuel Dzamesi won CEO of the Year in the Petroleum and Power categories. The awards emphasized local content's role in the sector's growth.

Dr. Yussif Sulemana was honored as Energy Advocate of the Year, while Daryl Kwawu received the Energy Reporter of the Year award for his impactful reporting. The ceremony celebrated collaboration between local and foreign stakeholders in achieving energy goals.
