Absa Bank partners with BEN Africa to promote ethical business practices

Absa Bank Ghana Limited has partnered with BEN Africa to support the BEN Africa Conference, scheduled for November 2024 in Ghana, in collaboration with Ghana Communications Technology University. This conference promotes ethical decision-making across sectors.

Absa aims to foster discussions on moral integrity amid growing ethical challenges in African businesses. Judith Haizel, Director of Compliance at Absa, emphasized the importance of ethics in organizational leadership.

The partnership also includes the Absa BEN-Africa Supplier Day, introducing SMEs to an Ethical Awareness Programme that accredits businesses as "Ethically Aware."

Professor George Ampong urged stakeholders to prioritize ethics in higher education.
