Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia reaffirmed his commitment to using digitalization, specifically blockchain technology, to promote transparency and tackle corruption in Ghana.
Speaking at the Ghana CEO-Presidential Manifesto GALA dinner, he emphasized the need for a resilient, business-friendly economy supported by digital solutions.
Dr. Bawumia outlined plans for a flat tax rate, a simplified corporate tax system, and a revamped value-added tax (VAT) regime, aiming to ease business operations.
He also pledged to introduce lower port charges and duties, aiming to boost investment.
