Access Bank has appealed to customers to avoid transacting businesses with cash in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
The bank has asked customers and the general public to use the mobile app and other electronic platforms to do business in order to reduce the rate of infections.
Ghana has so far recorded nine cases of the coronavirus which has been declared pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Access Bank in a message to customers said: “Dear Valued Customer, in the wake of COVID-19, we encourage you to observe basic health protocols including the avoidance of cash in transacting business to protect yourself and your families.
“Use the AccessMobile App, *901# or AccessPay to make payments, transfer money, process salaries and monitor your account.”
