Global ranking of Top 5 smartphone brands in Q3, 2024

The global smartphone market saw a 5% year-on-year growth in Q3 2024, reaching 309.9 million units, the strongest performance since 2021.

Samsung and Apple lead the market, holding 19% and 18% shares, respectively, followed by Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo.

The Asia-Pacific region experienced the highest growth at 10% YoY, while Latin America grew by 9%.

In contrast, markets in China and Africa saw more modest increases of 4% and 2%. North America grew by 1%, but the Middle East experienced a decline of 1%.
