‘Kasapreko’ Company Limited wins big at 2018 Ghana Manufacturing Awards

Ghana’s steadfast manufacturing awards, of which celebrates innovations in the industry with an ultimate target of compelling professionals and companies to compete locally and globally, held on May 24 at the Kempinski Goldcoast Hotel in Accra had Ghana’s largest, leading and most successful alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage producers winning enormously at the event.

Kasapreko Company Limited at the 2nd edition of Ghana Manufacturing Awards bagged two honorable awards, celebrating its CEO, Mr. Richard Adjei as “Young Manufacturer of the Year” 2018 and Kasapreko as a leading company in Ghana earned the “Export Manufacturing Company of the Year”.

The two awards go a long way to unshackle the continuous efforts and legitimacy of Kasapreko Company Limited, One Africa’s largest beverage brands, aimed at creating lasting value for their stakeholders by producing diversified alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from herbal and other traditional blends using modernized first class technology.

2018 Ghana Manufacturing Awards saw many companies who have contributed largely to the manufacturing industry and purified outstanding performances in stewardship, health and safety corporate social responsibility and great innovation in the Ghanaian industry, winning awards in numerous categories.

The ceremony also celebrates high-size manufacturing from all facets spanning the length, breadth and enormous depth of the manufacturing industry.

KASAPREKO COMPANY LIMITED (KCL) is one of the leading and successful alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverage producers in Ghana. The company, which was first set up in the garage of the owner and businessman Dr. Kwabena Adjei in 1989 at Nungua has now grown into a multinational company with state-of-the-art automated factory located off the Spintex road.

KCL currently employs a total of 573 regular and contract workers. It is currently undertaking an expansion project which will increase its production capacity by almost three times to meet the growing market demand from other African countries and beyond.
