LIVESTREAMED: Bank of Ghana commissions its hospital

Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Ernest Addison, will commission the 65-bed facility meant for staff of the central bank and the general public located at East Cantonments.

The construction of the €80 million euro edifice is geared towards augmenting and complementing the existing healthcare delivery structures for citizens in the country.

The project started under the former Governors of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Henry Wampah and Dr Abdul Nashiru Issahaku and followed through by the current Governors of the Bank, Dr Ernest Addison, Mrs Elsie Addo Awadzi and Dr. Maxwell Opoku-Afari.

In April 2020, the Bank Hospital was released to support the Ministry of Health in the treatment of patients who tested positive for COVID-19.
