The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has assured that there is sufficient Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Ghana, with no anticipated shortages.
As of October 9, 2024, there was enough stock to last nearly two weeks, and Sentuo Oil Refinery is also producing LPG daily.
Additionally, 20,000 metric tonnes are scheduled for delivery by late October. Recent supply disruptions in the Western and Central regions were due to power issues at the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant, now been resolved.
The NPA is addressing loading delays caused by an LPG Marketing Companies' boycott and assures the public of stable LPG supply.
