Dr. Ernest Addison, Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), has expressed optimism that the newly inaugurated $250 million headquarters will boost operational efficiency and strengthen Ghana’s position as a financial leader in Africa.
Speaking at the commissioning on November 20, 2024, Dr. Addison emphasized the facility's role in centralizing BoG’s operations, previously dispersed across Accra, under one roof.
The modern headquarters, designed to streamline operations, foster better communication, and enhance cost-effectiveness, aligns with BoG's modernization strategy to meet evolving global financial demands.
Dr. Addison highlighted the building as a significant civic landmark and a symbol of Ghana's financial ambitions.
