The Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) is working towards realizing President Nana Akufo-Addo’s vision of establishing a modern and sustainable “energy economy” in Ghana.
This includes ensuring reliable, affordable energy for all and creating a robust workforce to support the $60 billion Petroleum Hub Project, which is already underway with Chinese and Ghanaian investors involved in its initial phase.
To support this, PHDC has launched a capacity-building program to train Ghanaians in essential petroleum sector skills, collaborating with Canary Consulting & Trading, Aurum Global Partners, and prominent institutions from the Canary Islands.
The training covers environmental technologies, oil and gas maintenance, pollution control, and project management, strengthening regional ties and positioning Ghana’s workforce for key roles in the global petroleum industry.
