The coronavirus pandemic continues to impact our lives in various ways, the disease’s spread has been rapid. In a bid to reduce the number of coronavirus(Covid-19), President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged pharmaceutical companies to scale up production of locally manufactured medical supplies.
In his address to the nation on the Coronavirus, the President also indicated government’s support to the pharmaceutical industry.
“ Let me reiterate my appeal to members of the pharmaceutical industry to scale up their domestic production of pharmaceutical products, government will do its best to support them,” he said.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ghana has increased to twenty-one(21) with one death.
