Social Enterprise Ghana (SE Ghana) will host the Ghana Social Enterprise Policy Dialogue and Forum on September 19, 2024, to advocate for a supportive environment for social enterprises, particularly agribusiness.
Supported by the German government’s AgriBiz programme, the event aims to advance policy for social enterprises contributing $1.4 billion to GDP and providing 400,000 jobs.
SE Ghana seeks a legal framework, a Social Enterprise Fund, and quotas for social goods. The dialogue involves key government ministries to push for investment access, market opportunities, and gender and green outcomes in agribusiness.
