TotalEnergies Ghana leads beach clean-up and environmental awareness initiative at Wiaboman Beach

TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana PLC organized a beach clean-up and awareness campaign at Wiaboman Beach in celebration of World Cleanup Day.

The event is part of the TotalEnergies Ghana Action! The programme involved 100 employees and 20 sanitation officers.

Together, they cleaned a 737-meter stretch, collecting 11 tonnes of waste.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness about plastic pollution and its harmful effects on marine life.

Additionally, 100 coconut seedlings were planted along the beach to promote environmental restoration and community stewardship.
