VRA sweeps 3 prestigious awards at 8th Ghana Energy Awards

The Volta River Authority (VRA) was a big winner at the 8th Ghana Energy Awards, held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra on October 25.

VRA took home three major awards: Energy Company of the Year, Outstanding Local Content Initiative, and Local Content Leadership Impact.

These honors highlight VRA’s strong contributions to Ghana's energy sector, particularly in local content and sustainable practices.

Deputy Chief Executive Ing. Edward Obeng-Kenzo was recognized with the Local Content Leadership Impact award, beating top industry leaders, including the CEOs of Ghana National Gas and Petroleum Commission.
