Xodus Communications Limited has officially outdoored its nominees for this year’s Forty under 40 Awards.
A total of 110 nominees were projected Wednesday for the awards slated for next month.
The award seeks to identify and celebrate emerging entrepreneurs who are making waves in the financial circles and have managed to achieve higher feats in the industry but are under the age of 40.
Detailing the media on the 2019 40 under 40 awards, Chief Executive Officer of Xodus Communications, Richard Abbey Jnr, during the unveiling in Accra stated that, “there are people under 40 that are doing so well but no one is recognizing them so we thought that fine, we want to pat them at the back and in doing that, that will encourage them to move ahead, not for them to feel they have arrived or self-actualized but then… move ahead to do more”.
The Award category covers a wide range of all the various sectors ranging from banking and finance, energy, family business, agriculture, theatre and arts, journalism, fashion, law, sports, event management, health, technology and innovation amongst others.
As part of the celebrations, Xodus Communications Limited held a summit for the nominees where they can inter-trade and network before the grand finale.
Meanwhile, October 4, 2019, has been scheduled for 2019 Forty under 40 awards night and would take place at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
