YARP Foods, a winner of the KIC 2024 AgriTech Challenge Pro, officially launched its new cassava flour production facility in Akumsa Dumase, Bono East Region, on November 6.
With a daily capacity of 1 ton, the facility is set to meet growing demand in both local and international markets.
Co-Founder and CEO, Andy Donsah Yeboah, emphasized the company's commitment to leveraging innovation in the agricultural sector to unlock cassava’s untapped potential.
The facility supports local cassava farmers and provides employment opportunities within the community.
YARP Foods also runs an out-grower scheme and a free training program in pastry making.
The company aims to reduce reliance on imports, promote local production, and explore export opportunities, contributing to Ghana's food processing industry.
