Two men, Alex Frimpong, 24, and Abdul Razak Mohammed, 49, appeared in the Dansoman Circuit Court on October 31, 2024, facing charges of unlawful possession of human body parts under Ghana’s Criminal Offence Act.
They were caught with a human skull after Frimpong sought spiritual assistance for financial issues from a man named Nana Atta, who is currently at large.
Frimpong initially pleaded guilty but was later entered as not guilty, while Mohammed pleaded not guilty.
The prosecution opposed bail, citing ongoing investigations and concerns about their residences.
The court denied bail, ordering both men to remain in police custody until the next hearing on November 15, 2024, while investigations continue to locate Nana Atta.
The skull has been kept as evidence at the Police Hospital mortuary.
