The Kasoa Ofaakor district police command headed by DSP Christopher Dakey, has arrested Asafoatse Musah Razark also known as "Atwa", a suspected land guard and armed robber who has been terrorising residents of Akwele, a suburb of Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East municipality of the Central Region.
According to DSP Dakey, the suspect has been threatening land owners at Akwele and its surrounding areas with guns and machetes.
He said Atwa has been on the wanted list of the police for a while as all effort to arrest him proved futile.
DSP Dakey told Class News’ regional correspondent Calvis Tetteh that his eventual arrest was as a result of a tip-off from some residents living around Akwele.
The suspect would be arraigned for prosecution.
