Daniel Asiedu, charged with the murder of NPP's late MP Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu, has denied involvement, asserting that the MP's wife and mother may know more about the case.
Asiedu claims police evidence, such as alleged fingerprints and a supposed confession, is false.
He insists he was never present in the MP’s home and that no family members or neighbors identified him as the assailant. He alleges a conspiracy involving influential figures attempting to implicate him.
Asiedu further clarified that his nickname is "Gucci Young Star," not "Sexy Don Don," a label he says was given by the police.
Asiedu has concluded his defense and faces cross-examination; court proceedings resume on November 14, 2024.
