Pastor Samuel Koblah Narh of the Church of Pentecost in Awutu Papaase has been critically injured in a robbery at his home in the Awutu Senya West District.
Robbers shot him and stole his Toyota RAV4 (GW 545-22) and mobile phones.
The incident occurred after Pastor Narh returned from an evening service.
The robbers, who had been waiting outside his house, followed him in and fired shots to intimidate his family.
When Pastor Narh tried to speak to them, they shot him in the shoulder and stole his car.
He was first treated at Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital and later transferred to the Church of Pentecost Hospital in Madina. Church elder Godfred Viglo has appealed for public and police assistance to arrest the suspects and recover the stolen vehicle.
