Four more Democracy Hub protesters discharged

The Accra Circuit Court has discharged four more protesters from the Democracy Hub after the state withdrew charges against them.

The discharged individuals—Cedric Bansah, Emmanuel Offei, Nana Amo Mensah Prempeh, and Thomas Yeboah—are part of the 53 protesters arrested during the September 21-23 demonstrations.

This brings the total number of discharged protesters to 11, following a similar decision on October 22, when seven were released.

The state has filed new charges to replace the original ones as the court continues to handle cases from the protests.
