The trial of Daniel Asiedu, who has been accused of murdering former MP Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu, has been postponed to June 10 due to a juror strike.
Asiedu is expected to continue his testimony if the strike ends. The prosecution has presented eight witnesses against Asiedu, who faces charges of robbery and murder.
Co-accused Vincent Bosoo was acquitted in March 2024. Danquah-Adu was murdered at his Accra home on February 8, 2016. Initially charged in 2017, Asiedu and Bosoo faced new charges in 2019.
