J.B Danquah case: Jurors’ strike forces another adjournment of ‘Sexy Don-Don’ trial

The trial of Daniel Asiedu, accused of killing former MP J.B. Danquah, has been adjourned again due to the absence of jurors on strike.

Asiedu, in handcuffs, appeared in court on Monday only to hear the trial deferred to July 1, 2024, pending the payment of the jurors' eleven months' arrears.

Previously, Asiedu claimed in court that police coerced him to leave his fingerprints on Danquah's body and the crime scene.

He also mentioned the presence of the then Greater Accra Regional Commander, now IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, at the crime scene.
