Mobile money vendor robbed of GHS 55k in broad daylight

A mobile money vendor in Atwima Koforidua has been robbed of GHS 55,000 in broad daylight on Monday afternoon.

The vendor was returning from the bank when two robbers on a motorbike, who had trailed him, approached his stall under the pretext of withdrawing cash.

The pillion rider snatched the bag containing the money, and they sped off, leaving bystanders in shock.

The police have been alerted and are investigating the incident.
