One arrested over attack on Ayawaso West Wuogon NPP office

The Ghana Police Service has arrested Judith Trisy for her suspected involvement in the attack on the NPP office in Ayawaso West Wuogon on July 7.

In a statement on July 8, the police confirmed Trisy is in custody and cooperating with investigations. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the other individuals involved.

The attack resulted in property damage, including two vehicles. The police assured the public they were taking the matter seriously and committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice, emphasizing that violence and property destruction will not be tolerated.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
