Schools empty after shooting incident at Baniekrom

Basic schools in Baniekrom, Ahafo Ano South West District, are largely empty after a shooting incident that claimed three lives.

Only 30 out of 100 pupils attended God is One Preparatory School, and Baniekrom D/A basic school had sparse attendance.

The local Assembly member, Kingsley Asare, noted the absence of security, heightening fear.

The incident involved a fetish priest, Osman Majeed, who shot youths he claimed were attacking him, resulting in three instant deaths and one later due to gunshot wounds.

Bloodstains and bullet cartridges at the scene underscored the violence's severity.
