Truck loaded with timber crushes into several vehicles at Obuasi Mangoase

Today in Obuasi Mangoase, Ashanti Region, a truck carrying timber lost control, overturning and causing a major accident.

The truck collided with several vehicles, including a taxi with registration AS 1735-18, leading to significant damage.

Timber from the truck fell and crushed multiple cars, notably trapping one with registration GW 5088-11 under the truck.

Witnesses attributed the incident to brake failure in the afternoon. Remarkably, despite the severity of the crash, both the taxi driver and a passenger trapped in the vehicle under the truck were rescued without injuries.
