Unidentified gunmen ambushed New Patriotic Party (NPP) campaigners in the Asante Akim North Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The victims were attacked at Kowirem in Agogo while returning from campaign activities.
Reports indicate the suspects, in an unregistered Range Rover, intercepted the campaigners near their pick-up truck and opened fire indiscriminately.
The attackers seized the truck's keys, stole mobile phones, and fled the scene amidst gunfire.
Police have launched an investigation, recovering spent shells from the scene.
Efforts are ongoing to track and apprehend the suspects, who remain at large.
