In exactly 10 months from this very moment, we will be at the battle fronts, across the length and breadth of this country from Acccra to Ashanti, Koforidua, Ho, Brong Ahafo, The Northern Regions, Volta and the Western Region, in every corner of every village of every town of very city we will be fighting for the soul of this beloved country of ours; Ghana.
In Shaa Allah, it'll be a battle we will win. The battle of 2016 is for the emancipation of this country. The battle should have no party. It is the citizenry against the government. It is we against them. 'Them' being the wandering demons in our political arena. Those who paid €42million of our taxes to one of them, those who used Gh3.6million from our coffers to brand state buses with their photos among several others acts of thievery.
In their own words, they're like goats that have eaten from the state farms and they fear no knife. From this very moments we embark on an exercise of 'DEGOATIFICATION' of the republic.
You do not need to be a member of the opposition NPP to join this 'DEGOATIFICATION' process, you just need to be a patriot that loves this country. A patriot who is appalled by the wanton theft of state funds by a cabal at the corridors of power.
The battle is going to be tough, but the liberation of the country and its people eventually from the shackles of corruption, blatant thievery, ineptitude will be worthwhile in the end.
Let us play our part, every vote matters, let us win and win convincingly such that every attempt of rigging will be an exercise in futility for them, let us work so hard that they end up voting for change themselves without even noticing it. It is possible, we can do it.
If the Ivorians did it with Ouattara, with the machinations from the then government and that change is yielding great dividends, if the Nigerians gave Buhari a chance with all the resistance from the Jonathan administration and they're already seeing results, what stops us from giving Nana Akufo-Addo a chance?
Get involved, participate, help deliver the votes in your area, play your part. Play a role however small you think it may be, it could be the one thing that'll eventually cause the change we so much yearn for.
