Afari-Gyan is Disgracefully Wriggling on the Floor

Dr. Afari-Gyan is Disgracefully Wriggling on the Floor Begging and Seeking to Explain…..

If disgrace was a cloak, Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan would adorn. Upon all his insane audacity culminating in one-man showmanship that defies conventional wisdom, he now finds himself the most disgraced person in Ghana. He is currently wallowing in shitty problems, desperately groping around in the darkness of foreign lands for solutions which are but not forthcoming.

Many intelligent people prevailed upon him to do the right things before, during and after the 2012 general elections but he ignored their wise suggestions and advice. He believed himself to possess all the powers in Ghana to do whatever he wants, as and when he wants, as long as the Constitution allows. The NDC party and government were always supportive of his actions, offering him unflinching allegiance, knowing he was in bed with them. He was actually conniving with them to rig the elections for the NDC party and now the questionable President John Dramani Mahama.

Anyway, the Legal team for Nana Akuffo-Addo & Co. filed an interrogatory at the Supreme Court requesting the Electoral Commissioner (Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan) to furnish the petitioners with further details on the 241,524 Ghanaians on the voter register supposedly registered abroad. They had requested for their names, addresses, country of residence, foreign missions they work in and their job designations, how many of them are students on government scholarship etc. This request was against the backdrop that the Electoral Commission informed all participating political parties in the 2012 elections that there were 13,917,366 registered voters. After the election, the figure had bloated to 14,158,890. He has permanently sought to justify the huge difference by alleging they are all Ghanaian registrants on various Ghanaian missions abroad. As Nana Akuffo-Addo and Co. finds his explanation too good to understand, his legal team filed the interrogatory for further details and particulars.

Just for the above request, Dr. Afari-Gyan is fumbling for words, ruffling his hair and scratching his head. He is rumoured to be making Lastminute.com attempts to get names and addresses of Ghanaian residents abroad to dubiously use for the figures he presently finds insurmountably ominous to justify. He is foaming at the mouth, wallowing in complete ignorance, shocked at how he is about to be reduced to Mr. Nobody, but a complete clown by his own obstinacy. Mind you, "Obstinacy is the cause of the horns of the Hornbill"

Do I waste time discussing Kwadwo Afari-Gyan who has by his untoward actions disgraced all rational Ghanaians particularly the Brongs of the greater Akan tribe in which he belongs? So far, he has barely been able to justify 705 to 2,883 registered voters, leaving behind an ocean of unexplained figure of registrant-voters as appears on the voter register.

The above, which is but just the tip of the iceberg, a sign of the gargantuan fraud to unveil, indicates how Afari-Gyan and his accomplices (John Dramani Mahama and the NDC) will be drenched in shame and suffer defeat on the day that the Supreme Court will pronounce judgment on the Election 2012. Look at the incident in Savelugu in the North where two officials of the Electoral Commission have been apprehended for "allegedly attempting to illegally secure evidence to facilitate the EC’s case in court against the New Patriotic Party (NPP)", as published on Ghanaweb on Sunday 17 February 2013 under the title, "EC officials held over pink sheets"

Unfortunately, some NDC bigots still don't get the message, as daft as they are. One young man called Ras Mubarak, has been proclaiming that regardless of the eventual outcome of the electoral fraud case pending in the Supreme Court against the fate-hanging-in-the-balance President John Dramani Mahama, he, Mahama, will still remain in power as President of Ghana for the next four years. I pity these babies with sharp teeth who double as "evil dwarfs and greedy bastards". They have eyes, yet they are sorry to say, worse than the visually impaired. They cannot see when danger is coming their way. They have ears, yet they cannot hear and are worse than the deaf persons because their ears are completely waxed. They have mouths to talk sensibly, yet they talk foolishly. They have brains but they cannot reason as rational human beings.

What is that young man called Ras Mubarak trying to tell Ghanaians? The leadership of the NPP, the NPP faithful, all discerning Ghanaians, have decided to pursue justice in the law courts rather than going on rampage in the streets. Does going about seeking justice peacefully in the courts a sign of weakness on the part of the NPP and their leadership? If this is the interpretation attributed by Ras Mubarak and his likeminded NDC fanatics, then he has got it all wrong.

The Supreme Court judges will be obliged to declare verdict based on the availability and credibility of facts and evidence. They cannot do otherwise no matter how they will be tempted to tarnish their reputation by resorting to corrupt practices perceived to be the trademark of Ghana judiciary.

When the court pronounces judgment in favour of Nana Akuffo-Addo as I sure hope it will, we shall see if the likes of Ras Mubarak can have their way with their nonsensical childish and fanatical beliefs. I hope he is not underestimating anyone's intelligence or strength to behaviour bestially when the occasion calls for. We are holding our calm until then.

I will advise Afari-Gyan, John Mahama and the NDC to find a proper way of defending the charge brought against them than seeking to resort to further criminal means to exonerate them from blame.
