Ghana's New Patriotic Party (NPP), the official opposition party, is poised of giving Ghana economic
Independence, if Ghanaians vote massively for its Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
and the NPP in this year's presidential and parliamentary elections.
The re-nomination of Dr. Bawumia, one of the world's best economists and an astute politician, as a
running mate, is a clear indication of the NPP's determination of offering Ghanaians the economic
Independence.
In 2008, Nana Akufo-Addo told Canadian investors and Chief Executive Officers of Financial Institutions
In Toronto that under his administration, he would move Ghana from the third world to the group of the world Industrialized nations.
Nana Akufo-Addo told the Business Executives that Ghana abounds in natural resources, including high
Grade crude oil in the world, and it is his plan to harness them to push the nation 'GHANA' to the world
Great industrialized nations. Ghanaians, let us give Nana Akufo-Addo the chance to implement his BLUE
PRINT.
The plan, according to Nana Akufo-Addo, includes improving the living conditions of all Ghanaians and
revamping the Health Insurance Scheme introduced by the former NPP Administration.
Under the current NDC Administration, the National Health Insurance Scheme is woefully non-existent
and Ghanaians are now paying for the health services which they were enjoying FREE OF CHARGE under Kufuor Administration.
President John Atta Mills told the nation before his assumption of office that gas (petrol) was to be
reduced drastically. Instead, the commodity has been increased drastically by 20 per cent to the
disadvantage of Ghanaians. 'DID WE GO OR DID WE COME?'
The NDC has no plan to improve the living conditions of Ghanaians. The plan of the NDC now is to milk the nation and the people WHITE before the presidential and parliamentary elections later this year. Ghanaians must be patient to vote the NDC out of power this year.
Jerry Rawlings, former President and Founder of the party, NDC, later last year, complemented Nana Akufo-Addo by saying "Nana Akufo-Addo, who is in the opposition, is more popular than Atta Mills, who is the President." President Atta Mills has failed the people and the nation and does not deserve a second chance to put the nation beyond recovery.
