... He is Doing a Marvellous Job!
I say, bravo and more grease to the elbows of Agya Koo, my fellow NPP campaigner canvassing for Nana Akufo Addo and NPP to win Election 2016. As a late comer as he is, he is doing a brilliant job. He is a crowd-puller and an orator whose messages find favour in the eyes and ears of his audience. In effect, he is a “Paul a waama ntem, nanso wosen adikanfo”
Before I proceed any further, let me pause a second to extend my heartfelt condolences to him on the death of his mother. I pray he overcomes the pain of losing his mother as quickly as possible. Being someone who has lost both parents, I understand the pains he is going through at the moment. However, the pain must never be an obstruction to his determination to campaign tirelessly to bring Nana Akufo Addo and NPP to power come 7 December 2016.
I am happy that Agya and his “Agenda 57% for Nana Akufo Addo 2016” colleagues are not ready to be found wanting when it comes to a view once expressed by the late Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia. The Emperor said, “Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph”.
Agya Koo and his friends want to go down in history as people who selflessly joined hands with equally selfless people to liberate Ghana from the hands of incompetent, clueless, corrupt and lawless nation administrators at a critical point in the life of Ghana. They teamed up with forward-thinking people to liberate Ghanaians and Ghana from the evil clutches of President Mahama and the NDC, the way they want to be remembered by posterity.
Additionally, Agya Koo does not want to be found morally guilty of a saying by Mark Twain who said, "In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his course succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot". He wants to join the liberation fight when people are needed and the fight very intense before it succeeds.
Therefore, Agya Koo is a hero but not a coward. He could not have come at any better time.
I have watched his YouTube videos and how he is doing well to bring Nana Akufo Addo, Ghana’s version of biblical Joseph or David in the making to power to set the Ghanaian captives free from the devastating corruption, practice of selective justice, tribalism, lawlessness and divide and rule tactics stubbornly brought to bear upon them by the callous NDC government and party.
I salute Agya Koo and his “Agenda 57% for Nana Akufo Addo 2016” brigade. I hope many more Ghanaians will emulate his shining example to quickly join the liberation Ghanaian Forces to use their thumps (“Kokromoti” power) to effect a change in government from NDC to NPP come 7 December 2016.
Will the Basoah, Duffour, Serwaah, Adwubi, Dentaa, Aduuna, Brenya, Nyanor etc. families of Kumawu join the NPP campaign team same as Agya Koo is doing? Do not stay on the fence only to try to come to limelight after the NPP has won the election to extricate Ghanaians from their politico-economic sufferings.
I know Kofi Basoah of Juabeng and “Burger” are with the NPP in prayers and are doing brisk campaigning; so also are the people of Kumawuman and Asiampa.
From today forward, I declare AGYA KOO in the name of God Almigty as Ghana’s “Paul a waama ntem, nanso wosen adikanfo”
