Are you a true or false prophet

The bible says we are created in the image of God and we are God's wonderful handiwork. As a child of God, you are also a man or woman of God.

God speaks to His Children and shows them the right path to take towards their destiny. He can speak to any child of His but the problem is, we don't listen to Him and become out of tune. The world is so loud in our ears that we hardly hear what God has for us.

We have succeeded in trusting others to see our destiny for us than ourselves. We want prophets to tell us what lies ahead of us, the colour, structure, address and name of our future spouse or life partner. I know God can work in mysterious ways but I don't believe He operates in that way when it comes to a life partner.

No matter what a prophet outside tells you, you also have to seek God’s face for personal confirmation, because undeniably, the prophet is human and the world might be loud in his ears, just as in yours.

As the man, you are supposed to be the head, the pastor and the prophet of your new family. You lead them in decision making, you guide them to God; and God can't give you a family to guide if you can't guide your own life.

Most of us are false prophets, we don't consult God, we take decisions based on our feelings, based on what the flesh is telling us and not what the Spirit says. But the bible says "It is the Spirit that gives life. The flesh is of no help" - John 6:63 (NLV).

Without God we are nothing; He created us and knows our purpose and mission on this earth. This is why you need to be in tune with Him always. Without Him human effort accomplishes nothing.

Many are in relationships or marriages which are not where God wants them to be because they refused to listen to Him. God is available to us all, the difference between those in tune with Him and those not is our personal decision to do so.

For the singles, if you have to beg the one you are dating to stop having sex with others, then you are in a wrong relationship. Those unmarried chasing your fellow man and woman to stop having intimacy with the one you want to marry, you are also in a wrong relationship.

Your supposed partner is your soulmate, you or they have will have no interest in being intimate with someone else. They have no business lusting after others. Anytime the thought of intimacy comes to their mind, you are the only person they think of. Being in love is like two souls becoming one.

"This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one" - Genesis 2:24 (NLT). When you are truly in love with someone, making love to others is highly impossible but making love to your spouse is what you desire.

If you have to force yourself from having intimacy with another person just to marry your supposed spouse, then the love you have for them is not real. When you are truly in love, having a crush on someone is totally out of the equation.

Singles, as you take a decision towards your marital life, my question for you is, are you a false prophet of God or a true prophet of God. Is God guiding you towards the right person or are you misleading yourself to the wrong person?

In conclusion "Marriage should be respected by everyone. God will punish those who do sex sins and are not faithful in marriage" - Hebrews 13:4 (NLV) Please share with your friends, someone out there needs this.
