Sorrowfully, Ghana abounds in "Comical Human Relieves" and "Educated Illiterates"
After hours of thoughtful, critical analysis of the submissions made by certain Ghanaians on Election 2012, with the subsequent declarations of variant views, I am compelled to put across this write-up. I will dwell on the submissions by three principal notorious Ghanaians to discussing my points, proving how comical, unknowledgeable, sly and intellectually illiterate some Ghanaians are. Excuse my French if I am being too harsh on them. I have no choice but to take them to the cleaners to get them washed and dried thoroughly well. The only way to get rid of the stain and blemish on their intelligence, if at all they possess any, is to expose their ignorance and intellectual hollowness for all to see.
Let me first take on the self-styled loudmouth Social critic called Kwesi Pratt, the Editor of the Insight newspaper. The persona of Kwesi Pratt is not only hypocritical but stinks. Out of total ignorance of which he is not aware of, and will never be, he has lately the following quoted absurd statement among others, to make, on various airwaves.
(The news report is available at https://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/artikel.php?ID=260309 .Touching on the possible outcome of the NPP’s case in court, the Editor maintained that “I don’t see any judge, worth their legal education, any judge worth the moral principles that they’ve been brought up with and so forth, any judge worthy of the titles and the gowns they wear declaring this election null and void.” He said he is very doubtful that any judge worth his sort will overturn the Electoral Commissioner’s declaration of President John Mahama winner of the polls".
Let it be known to Kwesi Pratt that courts deliver their judgments and verdicts based on evidential facts presented before them. If the evidence is more credible, a competent judge of integrity will have no choice but to deliver judgment based on the evidence so presented. Therefore, in the event of NPP securing credible evidence proving that the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Dr. Kwadwo Afrari-Gyan, helped rigged the elections for President-elect John Dramani Mahama, the judge can, and must, proclaim election 2012 null and void, or overturn the Electoral Commissioner's declaration of President John Mahama winner of the polls. The judge upon convincing evidence and or the technicalities of the law can invalidate the election results. Kwesi Pratt upon all his show offs does not understand this simple but principal aspect of Criminal Law and Procedure.
We should not be charting a bad course where the judge's decision will be influenced by any other thing apart from the available credible evidence before him or her. There should not be any consideration of factoring in, "Ghana is the beacon of Africa democracy, Ghana is very peaceful, etc. and that there is the need to preciously preserve or protect those attributes, by allowing Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan's declaration to stay even in an event of being proved wrong. Is Kwesi Pratt, that rented NDC man, jumping from one radio studio to another doing himself and Mother Ghana any good? He is behaving quite irresponsibly by his actions and utterances, for that I can say with absolute certainty.
Moreover, that emaciated being going by the nickname 'General Mosquito', whose ugliness cuts across the bone, has very unpalatable insinuations to cast about not only Nana Akuffo-Addo, but also all discerning Ghanaians. (The news report is available at https://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/artikel.php?ID=260242
Johnson Asiedu-Nketia said the fact that NPP will go to court is inconsequential because “any idiot can go to court in a democracy but the onus lies with the judge to determine whether the case has merit”. What does this notorious "semi-educated or completely educated illiterate" mean by his statement? The courts are there for anyone, irrespective of their social standing, level of education, intelligence or otherwise, to avail themselves of their services in pursuance of justice. Much as any fool and mediocre wants to rig elections to become the president of a nation in connivance with equally fools, the courts will always listen to all and sundry willing to seek their services. Asiedu Nketiah should not think he could perpetually get away with the crimes of corruption amid conflict of interests he is perpetuating against Mother Ghana and the good people of Ghana. His nemeses will surely catch up with him as long as the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent God lives.
Finally, that shameless and disgraced rouge called Yaw Boateng Gyan, who had secretly masterminded and involved in plots to exterminate a section of Ghanaians before his exposure taunts Nana Akuffo-Addo. He says at https://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/artikel.php?ID=260324 "Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo was not created to be president" and goes on to utter balderdash.
Ghanaians should be wary of all crooks that have the shameless guts to make sweeping or near-authoritative statements on behalf of other Ghanaians. They are damn crooks, so to speak.
I am on their case from now forward.
I wish all Ghanaians a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year regardless of their political affiliations, state of mind and personal circumstances. I request all radio stations in Ghana and Ghanaian radio stations abroad to play Peter Tosh's "Equal Rights' song of 1977 for our Christmas festive. The lyrics can educate those who do not first believe in JUSTICE but PEACE. The selfless musical legend, Peter Tosh, still lives on in his music.
