“If gold rust, what will iron do”

Fri, 25 Jul 2008 Source: Mensah, Humphrey Tettey

Effective leaders recognize that what they know is very little in comparison to what they still need to learn. To be more proficient in pursuing and achieving objectives, you should be open to new ideas, insights, and revelations that can lead to better ways to accomplishing goals. I wonder why arrogant Akuffo-Addo wanted to be a president. HE DOESN’T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES….. This incessant learning process can be exercised, in particular, through engaging yourself in an invariable dialogue with your peers, advisers, consultants, team members, suppliers, customers, and competitors. Leading others is not simply a matter of style, or following some how-to guides or recipes. Ineffectiveness of leaders seldom results from a lack of know-how or how-to, nor is it typically due to derisory managerial or leadership skills. Leadership is not only about creating a great vision. It is also about creating conditions under which all your followers can perform independently and effectively toward a common objective. Akuffo-Addo doesn’t have what it takes.

The most important quality of leadership, the one quality for which you want to be known, is extraordinary performance, with the goal of achieving extraordinary results. WE KNOW AKUFFO ADDO’S PERFORMANCE. These results then serve as an inspiration to others to perform at equally exceptional levels. People ascribe leadership to those men and women who they feel can most enable them to achieve important goals or objectives and we all know Akuffo-Addo doesn’t have these qualities.

Leadership is imperative for molding a group of people into a great team. Shaping them into a force that will serve as a competitive business advantage. Leaders know how to make people function in a collaborative fashion, and how to motivate them to excel their performance. How is Akuffo-Addo going to motivate Ghanaians? Leaders also know how to balance the individual team member's expedition with the goal of producing synergy - an outcome that exceeds the sum of individual inputs. Leaders require that their team members forego the quest for personal best in engagement with the team effort. An important measure of a leader's own success is of his or her followers. The strength of a leader is measured by the ability to facilitate the self-leadership of others. The first critical step towards this goal is to master self-leadership. If leaders want to lead somebody, they must first lead themselves. Akuffo-Addo is a failed minister and a crook, how can such a moron lead Ghana. NEVER…NEVER…..NEVER…. Ladies and gentlemen, there are just more “APORKRONKRON” about these NPP guys. The former minister of works and housing and Member of Parliament Hackman Owusu Agyeman has a foundation, stole money for his foundation (Hackman foundation) from FAO regional office for Africa to the amount of 400,000 US dollars to teach the youth poultry farming which we all know was a sham, that is where he got his money to campaign. That causes Hackman dismissal from FAO. In the interest of the organizational clause, another thief, Kwamena Bartels and ( F& K account) the 100 million cedis loan from Ghana co-operative bank in 1990. Apart from the government money he stole for his daughter and son-in-law. When I see these crooks and looters deceiving innocent Ghanaians I get worried. MORE OF NPP SCAM WILL BE REVEALED SOON….STAY TUNED They are good at looting banks. Kufour himself owed banks including Ghana co-operative bank , NIB, BHC etc  some of them were in the process of losing their homes and had to send people to beg the then VP to help them until the good people of Ghana voted them to power and that was the mistake we made. Today you see why they are shaking like “GBILIGBILI”. NPP presidential nominee Nana Akuffo-Addo has spent months positioning himself as the heir to the Dankwa-Busia Movement, to fight corruption ?and make the lives of Ghanaian citizens better? to improve the economy? However, these are "street talks" shows. His NDC opponent would do a better job to bring changes the people want. To compare candidates will use qualities based on five character traits--namely, how articulate, intelligent, confident, experienced and influential they are. Professor Atta Mills comes out better in these respects.

I believe that either Akuffo- Addo has been reading my articles or his attention had been drawn to my article or by absolute fluke, Akufo Addo, for the first time in his lie lie campaign, said something about what he did in the past, but he did not include most of his dubious and vicious things. I would like to know what happened to TSEBI. To epitomize the scenario, Nana Akuffo- Addo and TSEBI used to do diamond business in Sierra Leone, unfortunately the business crashed and TSEBI died mysteriously so my question to him is that what happened to TSEBI? During the time he was propagating his empty promises to the good people of Ghana, He said ‘as a person, I care deeply about the future of this country OYIWA…..AMALELOR…LAKPATOR….BANBALA Over the last three decades, I have been in the trenches, fighting to establish our democracy WHAT KIND OF FIGHT was he insinuating?, to expand the frontiers of our freedoms and to make our nation better WHAT IS HE TALKING ABOUT? When I say he is a serial liar, some of his colleagues have been sending me treacherous emails; I can assure you that it will not demoralize me. When I hear him talking about human rights violations and rule of law I go mad. The following are the excerpts of his unrealistic and empty promises he made in just June: God knows what next.

i. A government led by Akufo-Addo would build a bridge across the Volta Lake at Dambai in the Krachi East District to link the Krachi-West district. What significant thing did he do as a minister apart from looting, stealing, witch-hunting, drugs, lies, and cheating? “ESE WO ARA, WEE KE COCAINE TSE”….

ii. I pledge that my administration will move towards the goal of having a public University in each region. He should tell us how he is going to do that within four years. I am still waiting for his reactions concerning “AMALE” credentials. We all know he got third class in Economics from University of Ghana. Please tell us where you got your law degree from. Tell us the reasons why you were expelled from Oxford University. Do you think Ghanaians will again fall for your lies? AKUFFO-ADDO’S FALLACY…..

iii. I pledge to establish and a modern airport that will make Tamale the gateway to the North. What are you doing or what did you do as a minister to help alleviate poverty and guinea worm from the north. Please don’t upset us with your lies. I am also pledged to establish a 1 billion dollar Industrial Development Fund that will support enterprises; DO YOU REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT? We shall support real estate developers to erase the significant housing deficits we face while creating needed jobs in our economy. Yes you can do that with the NPP shoddy real estate consultant in Texas. Do you think we have forgotten about the loan scam by the NPP administration? Please don’t mess with our intelligence. Talking about the north, what you and your have done to solve Bawku crises? Bawku crises as well as many other domestic issues in Ghana remains unsolved, and it would continue to be like that till Kufour`s term is finally over, meanwhile the President have much time for extraneous foreign trips that brings nothing, but loses (debt) to the national revenue side, as a result of his huge luxury expenditure. WHAT A JOKE! His law firm is defending the accused person’s of Ya Naa’s murder case. This is a conflict of interest.

Is there a reason why Kufour is impassive to visit the northern part of Ghana and talk directly with the traditional leaders and their subjects, rather than always calling some few factions involved in the conflict to Accra, just to display his Presidential powers or he doesn’t know conflict resolution? I want to know if Akuffo-Addo and Kufour have any respect and passion for the people of Bawku.

iv. Under my administration, I plan to move Ghana from the third world to the group of the world industrialized nations. Armed robbery and other security related challenges would be tackled professionally to protect national sovereignty, rights and freedoms of the citizenry. How is he going to do that if the root cause of armed robbery is drugs which he is a victim.? Talking about security, how is he going to answer to the people of Ghana about the two people who died in his office (Akuffo-Addo and Prempeh esqs.)? PEOPLE KNOW…. How is he going to handle security when armed robbers are killing people almost everyday under the NPP administration? How about contract killing? Akuffo-Addo, please don’t try these “ANANSE STORY” on us Never again. ENOUGH OF YOUR WAHALA.

v.The next NPP Government would give priority attention to issues that would underpin an all-round youth development to enable them become useful citizens in the country. What is going on with the youth OF TODAY? Most the youth including the NPP gurus are on drugs so what the heck is he insinuating. Please spare me this crab. The NPP has failed the youth miserably. The District Assembly Common Fund would be increased from five per cent to ten per cent to enable district assemblies to undertake development projects for the benefit of the majority of the people. Who initiated the district assembly concept? Akuffo-Addo you are visionless…..What do you know about district assembly?

vi. I will institute measures to collaborate with agencies in the United States and the United Kingdom in the fight against the drug menace. Oh gracious God, Akuffo-Addo is talking about drugs? The NPP government and their sympathizers are all drug peddlers. Tell me how you are going to fight against something that you are part of, secondly we all know that the money you are using for your campaign is drug money so how are you going to do that. The NPP government promised drug dealers freedom in their tenure so they sponsored them and they are still sponsoring the party so I will pose the question again how are you going to fight it. KONONGO KAYA PLEASE…..don’t make me vomit with this nonsense. PEOPLE KNOW YOUR TRICKS….

vii. NPP would not practice divide and rule tactics but develop every part of the country as one people, one nation with one destiny. DO YOU THINK WE HAVE FORGOTTEN “MATEMEHO” AND NEPOTISM OF THE NPP? We know you guys too much. The country is polarized and tribalism has become a household name under the NPP government. KONONGO KAYA PLEASE……WE KNOW TOO MUCH. Under my administration, revenue from the oil find would be used judiciously to build a united, strong and free nation and I promise a transparent and accountable use of revenue from the oil find to develop every part of the country when voted into power. Why are you promising when you know that you are just messing with our minds? AMALELOR..

THE THEIF WANTS OIL MONEY TOO……Don’t think about it.

viii. The Police Service, the Attorney-General's Department, the Serious Fraud Office and the Commission on Human Rights and Administration would be adequately resourced and given the requisite wherewithal and independence to be able to perform their duties. So you know about what your judges are doing. YOU ARE A JOKE what did you do as an attorney general when all this inhuman things are happening in the country. Killing of innocent Ghanaians, armed robbery, Selective justice", as in the NPP Government deciding to selectively prosecute NDC officials of yester year whilst ignoring more serious offences committed by NPP officials today. Please don’t insult our intelligence. KONONGO KAYA PLEASE…How can you create a society that is just humane and equitable? LIARS…LIAR….WE KNOW YOUR TRICKS…. AS an attorney general what did you do to make sure that the killers of Mobilla are brought to justice? Why should a government that has the constitutional responsibility of protecting each and every one of us callously refuse to prosecute this case? In other words, why has the prosecution of this criminal matter hit the wall? THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE SOUP…….

Why is the government dwindling and fudging from their sacrosanct responsibility of enforcing the law no matter who is involved? How long should we wait on this government before it mounts a full and complete airing of the evidence in this national case?

Are they telling the Ghanaians that although they didn’t have credible evidence to prosecute the accused persons yet they arraigned them before our High Court? A KULUULU trial? GOD SAVE US FROM THESE CROOKS…

How can we, as a people, move ahead in prosecuting our democratic destiny in a most dignified manner if we have this gorilla of a case weighing heavily on our collective conscience?

viiii. I am committed to fighting corruption with vigor. “ADJEN” (Isn’t this a joke?) I shall lead by example, through a hands-on approach, working around the clock to restore the culture of hard work. What type of leadership are you talking about? Arrogance, drugs, stealing, looting or what? Akuffo-Addo is dreaming about offering a leadership of incompetence and dishonesty. The track record is there.

Akuffo Addo, how do you intend to execute all the vain promises? Tell us why you have not said a word about the uncompleted NPP projects like the $60m Presidential Palace, the $20m Independence wastefulness that has not been accounted for, the purchase of presidential jets at $37m, and the Talk Time Tax Bill and that other nonsense called ROPAL which you asked for money to implement? These are projects that you voted for and stand to inherit if, may God forbid, you become president of Ghana. “TOFIAKWA” Not forgetting 1970 when the PP government spent over $3 million dollars on furniture alone……They love luxury without thinking about the welfare of Ghanaians. DO YOU GUYS ALSO REMEMBER KUFOUR ALSO SPENT TAX PAYERS MONEY TO RENOVATE HIS PRIVATE HOUSE? That is their cup of tea. VOTE THESE CROOKS OUT FOR A BETTER GHANA..

Nana Auffo-Addo, UNIGOV happened about a third of a century ago KUMEPREKO, and SIMIPREKO took place when you and your NPP were in opposition and a significant percentage of the Ghanaian population was not even born. Your involvement in UNIGOV and KUMEPREKO is what put your name on the list of political activists and ultimately aided you in becoming a minister and subsequently a presidential candidate. Now voters want to know what you did as a minister to guarantee that there would be no need for a ‘YE WU OO’ demonstration and looting of the treasury which we know is your trademark. They want to know what you did as a minister for seven years.

Ghanaians be aware that Akufo Addo did absolutely nothing in the past but he is promising you the world in future. Beware of a toothless man who promises to buy you dentures. Attorney general who did not know his work but rather sat down for corruption and illict drug business boom in the country does not fit to wear the national crown (president). The full context is that the Ghana you see is a figment of your imagination. This is not a war about "the best man for Ghana and victory, Akuffo-Addo, this is a corruption and drug war you and the president you support and seek to succeed, has plunged this nation into. After a close analysis of historical documents, I have come to and determined that precisely 99 % of our presidents have PhDs. Ghana has elected only two first degree (BA or BS?) holders presidents in its long and illustrious history and the the two--Flt. Jerry John Rawlings and now Mr. Kufour. This spells trouble for Nana Akuffo-Addo despite all the KULUULU credentials accorded on him. The advantage favors Atta Mills. IF GOLD RUST WHAT WILL IRON DO!!! I think God is absent in Ghana politics if it wasn’t Akuffo-Addo will not be thinking about running for president.

SE KWATREKWA SEE OBEMA WO NTAMA’A TIE NI DIN!!!

VOTERS VOTE ATTA-MILLS AND THE NDC FOR A BETTER GHANA
