My take on the President's comment

Good day comrades, sorry for the short break. Greetings from Madina anyway.

I write today’s piece with a deep sense of sadness. Just like I have persistently stated, taking a political party that is in government to the cleanness has not been my style so I try as much as I can to stay away from them but the funny thing is, the more I try, the more they come closer. The president has just brought himself, but I will try my best to control my “body and pen chemistry” so I can exercise a little bit of constraints.

Folks, I listened to the president’s comments carefully and I was able to de deduce a meaning out of it. The bottom line is, it is only former presidents who have the right to criticize his INCOMPETENCY. I have some few questions for him.

1. If only former presidents are the ones fit to pass judgment on your performance, then, why do the ordinary Ghanaians have the ultimate power under the constitution to pass the biggest judgment on your performance in general elections?

2. Your party claims to be social democratic leading, ideologically and therefore have respect for the common man. So why are only former presidents the only crop of Ghanaians fit to judge you?

3. I know you do listen to members of the national peace council, may I know if members of this institution are former presidents?

4. Why don’t you single-handedly change the constitution so that only former presidents can vote on election day?

Dear readers, truth be told, the president has GOOFED. The president thought he was taking a whip at Dr. Bawumia, little did he know he was shooting himself in his own foot.

Anyway, I am not surprised; this is what propagandist do when they duck out of challenges. Surely when all affections are squandered, victimhood offers a convenient last refuge. No wonder communicators of the ruling government are complaining bitterly that the president has taken over their jobs, how do they get their daily bread?

Folks, if people with PhD in economics do not have the right to criticize our president, then who should? The INCOMPETENCY of our president is clearly written on the wall, we need no juju-men to tell us this. If president Robert Mogabe far away in Zimbabwe can attest to this fact, what about we Ghanaians who are engulfed in the heat?

I hold the president in high esteem so I would advise him to sit down, reflect on the KG1 comment and come back again and we would welcome him with great enthusiasm.

I would like to put a spontaneous full stop here for now. I promise to come back when the need be.

God bless all my readers, God bless mother Ghana.
