"You can go to court. You can take it to court. The NPP has no evidence". These are some of the statements made by Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan, the Chairman of the Electoral Commission and some members of the NDC when NPP initially complained about irregularities and malpractices that had likely taken place to mar the veracity of the election results.
Mocked, but true to their intents and purpose, the leadership of the NPP has taken the case before the Supreme Court of the land. Now, what do we see as ordinary citizens of the land aspiring to attain justice and peace for the country? Those very people that teased the NPP for having had no evidence are now running helter skelter committing further criminal acts tantamount to perverting the course of justice.
Not long ago, a national service person, Salamatu Osman, was caught in Savelugu in the Northern region arranging for previously unsigned pink sheets to be signed. She did that at the supposedly behest of the Deputy Northern Regional Director of the EC, Mr. Godfred Oakley and the Savelugu/Nanton District Director of the Commission, Mr. Benjamin Akomanua.
From a publication on Ghanaweb General News of Tuesday, 30 April 2013 entitled, "Why I refused to sign affidavit" a "24-year-old student of the Gbewaa Teacher Training College, Pusiga, in the Upper East Region, Iddrisu Evans", was approached by the Electoral Commission to sign an affidavit they intend using in their defence against the petitioners, Nana Akufo Addo and Co. "According to him, the information contained in the 19 documents submitted to him for signing at the residence of the District Officer of the EC, Bismarck Nteh, did not represent his views but cooked views of someone for parochial interest. The former Temporal Booth Nyayeri Polling Station Presiding Officer insisted that he did the right thing by declining to sign the documents"
Many other things have happened since the petition was lodged. Biometric machines have been stolen, laptops containing voter's registration information have gone missing, pink sheets have been stolen, NPP collation centre at their headquarters was stormed and computers removed by unidentified police, Lawyer Gloria Akufo's office was ransacked etc. What do Ghanaians and especially those blindly supporting the NDC, President Mahama and the Electoral Commission make out of these which are just the tip of the iceberg of the crimes taken place since the Supreme Court case?
There are currently rented press and persons of whom Kwesi Pratt and the General Secretary of the PNC, Mornah, are among and tirelessly working around the clock to place impediments in the eventual successful ruling by the Supreme Court. All these panicky measures being taken by the agents and assigns of President Mahama, the NDC and the Electoral Commission are vivid indication that election 2012 was rigged in favour of now President John Dramani Mahama who shamelessly campaigned on the slogan "Edey bii keke"
There is ample evidential justification that the election was rigged. This renders it nonsensical, hopeless and unsubstantiated the observations and subsequent declarations by the so-called "International Election Observers". If the elections were fair, free and transparent as claimed, why then are all these criminal attempts being made to rectify things, as stated above?
The International Observers in this case are as useless as they unknowingly or knowingly by their actions do encourage abuse of incumbency, corruption, incompetence and mediocrity among African leaders.
As the pen is said to be mightier than the sword much as some words are, then presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama, Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan and the NDC collusively rigged the election in favour of the most corrupt person ever appointed to be the Vice President of Ghana who administratively erroneously has become the President of Ghana.
While they were using the pen and financial inducements at the polling stations and Constituency levels to rig the election, the International Observers were sitting elsewhere in the Electoral Commission office chatting and eating sumptuous meals only to finally announce to Ghanaians and the whole world that the elections were free, fair and transparent.
With on the ground criminalities in perpetuation by the respondents unfolding by the day, the International Observers have just to bury their heads in their palms in shame for the ridiculous job they came to do in Ghana . The fact that there was not were open confrontations or violence in Ghana during the elections does not simply translate into the election being free, fair and transparent as asserted.
Have they realised that like a silent trade, and the pen being mightier than the sword, the respondents in the petition used the power of the pen, corruption and other non-violent means to rig the election? Whether Mohammed went to the mountain or the Mountain went to Mohammed, there is that one factor of importance worthy of recognition in both cases which is, WENT.
Therefore, whether there was violence or relative calm in Ghana before, during and after the elections, that singular aspect of statutory violation has been established by me, confirmed by GOD, and will be reconfirmed by the Supreme Court.
There were written regulations embodied in Constitutional Instruments CI 71, CI 74 & CI 75 which, were accepted by all parties before the elections. Mornah can try to persuade the other judges of the Supreme Court to declare all the instruments in the mentioned CIs unconstitutional, in a colluding attempt to render the petition lodged by Nana Akufo Addo and Co nonsensical in the end, it will not wash.
If he is seeking to make the biometrical verification illegal as well as other clauses therein, then the entire election 2012 conducted on those terms is illegal and hence, President Mahama an illegal President who must stand down immediately. That is the end effect. As ignorant and mischievous as some people are, their own evilness will come to bite them one by one.
As we have some armed robbers in the human society, so also do we have penned robbers? Those stealing by the power of pen in Ghana know themselves. How could all the meat have been eaten to the bone and who eat it, if it wasn't for stealing or embezzling by the power of pen?
Shame on the NDC crooks! Regardless of what anyone does, I shall entreat all NPP faithful and discerning Ghanaians to remain RESOLUTE behind Nana Akufo Addo, Dr Mahammudu Bawumia and Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey as revealed by God to Kofi Basoah. It hurts some people when I constantly remind Ghanaians of God's revelation and message to them on election 2012 but I shall keep mentioning it until everything come to pass.
What good things are there to write home about, about the NDC and President John Dramani Mahama? Please just tell me one, and I shall honestly write to bring it to the attention of the Ghanaian public. Are they the Corruption, Lawlessness, Incompetence, Mediocrity, Bastardisation (CLIMB) or what? You just tell me.
