Tamale south constituency of NDC in crissis -Part II

Mon, 28 Oct 2013 Source: Yakubu, Ziyaba

In part one of the above mentioned topic, I indicated the grievances put forward by some branch and ward executives and their next line of action. This was not to put the party in a public radicle and defensive mood where the constituency, regional or national executives will come out to vehemently deny that no executive or there is no area in the constituency the Member of Parliament (MP) has not visited for more than four years. It was not my intention too to insult any party member(s) like what the constituency secretary did in his rejoinder. It was to wake the constituency executives from their sleep to mend the cracks in the party as a result of the disagreements that arose during the elections and the feelings of some branch executives of being neglected by the constituency executives and the MP of their contributions to the success of the party in the constituency.

It was however shocking when some of the executives dismissed the existence of such disagreements and resignations, especially the constituency secretary who called me a faceless person, wicked liar and doom monger. It would have shock me if he did not say such things because he is a beneficiary of the manipulations so he is only protecting his interest. However my secretary, before you call me a wicked liar do well to answer the following questions:

? Is there an electoral area in Tamale South Constituency called Jakarayili/Watterson Electoral Area?

? When was the last time the Member of Parliament (MP) visited that area?

? Were there no disagreements after their elections and some other areas?

? Have some executives of this area which has four (4) polling stations or branches ever threatened to resign or not?

? Have they (constituency executives) received a resignation letter from a youth organization who is also a Chairperson of Russian Parliament (a youth wing of the party in the area) or not?

? What have they (constituency executives) especially the secretary done including the Member of Parliament to resolve those issues?

In any case, if I wanted to dent the reputation/image of both the constituency executives and the MP, there are several areas to write on and several questions to ask which they cannot both answer in my opinion.

My next stop will be at the constituency office: Why there is no unity among the constituency executives. Why the MP does not consult any of the constituency executives before doing things. The intensions and the calculated plan by the MP to control Tamale and the grabbing of contracts from left right centre. THE ERA OF SILENCE IS OVER IN TAMALE SOUTH CONSTITUENCY.
