Mr Alfred Agbesi Woyome, the Ghanaian swindler of the century is moaning about how some NDC people have lately been looking at him eerily. Others have been ignoring him, probably annoyed at, or envious of, him, taking the lion's share of the loot - GHC51.2 Million. They had all decided to steal the nation's money "poco a poco" (little by little) to avoid quick detection by the Ghanaian public but the most insatiably greedy one among them, Alfred Agbesi Woyome, gave the plot away.
Anyway, I am happy that Mr Woyome is back from his trip to America to face the full force of his trial. I hope he had not gone to the US to bank some of the money there. Barely had the Appeal Court ordered all his frozen assets to be unblocked, giving him unfettered access to them except the very bank accounts into which he deposited the cheque on GHC51.2 million, when he left for the US.
Mr Woyome, daydreaming as usual like any other of his NDC crooks, thinks he will be let off the hook by the Financial Court looking into his fraudulent acquisition of the money in dispute. What will a discerning Ghanaian say to him? "Na lie ooo, Oga"
I am still trying to figure out why and how members of the Ghanaian version of the Arabian "Ali Baba and his forty thieves" will turn against their head thief. Why are some members of the NDC giving him the cold shoulder? Has he now, once their party's most adorable self-styled financier, become a stubborn blemish on their already tainted reputation and hence, the obligation to discard him?
It is a serious occurrence to see a thief despise a fellow thief. What could be the reason for this situation that gives credence to the adage, "Friends today, enemies tomorrow?"
I am back on the case of Alfred Agbesi Woyome. I thank God that Brother Martin Amidu has taken it upon himself to ensure Woyome coughs the money he so dubiously acquired colluding with some members of the NDC government and party. "The thieves are hot!"
He is forcing himself on the NDC even though they have discarded him for bringing unprecedented gargantuan shame on them. What a situation, thieves disowning one of their own kinds? Hahahahahaaaaa. It's not funny!
He had better gird up his loins for a deadly fight. No matter what he does, Brother Amidu will floor him in the boxing ring. Unlike the vain bragging by the former Supreme Court judge, Justice Francis Kpegah, the "Thriller in Manila" will be revisited in this showdown between Alfred Agbesi Woyome and Brother Martin Amidu. Woyome will refund the money he collusively deprived the State of thanks to Brother Martin Amidu, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, and the likes of Rockson Adofo and all discerning Ghanaians.
