Dr. Gyateh Annobil of Mansowa Herbal Clinic, a leading herbal medicine producer in Ghana has commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on the presidential measures and directives to help combat the coronavirus pandemic.
He stated that the efforts made by the government and the Ministry of Health including Ghana Health Service have been very effective in ensuring the virus does not spread further.
Dr Annobil made this appeal when a group of pressmen called on him.
“The rising number does not come from those living in Ghana but those who travelled outside the country. They came back and were quarantine by the government and have been screened by the health ministry.”
“Ghanaians must applaud the first gentleman of the land, minister of health and the director-general of Ghana health service."
"They have assiduously shown that they think about the citizens in the country. There is ignorance in the laws of health,” he stated
Dr Annobil advised Ghanaians on how to protect themselves from getting the virus because it is a deadly disease without favouritism.
“We should, therefore, pay attention to the directives issued by the government by applying social distancing, using running water to wash our hands regularly and using hand sanitizers,” he added.
He also advised religious bodies to preach awareness to their members.
