KNUST's Herbal Medicine Department is partnering with Ebenage Herbal Production to commercialize student research, aiming to reduce graduate unemployment and boost the herbal industry.

Prof. Isaac Kingsley Amponsah noted that trained graduates can excel in the field, dispelling misconceptions about herbal medicine.

The "Hepa Plus Research Awards" will fund promising student projects, fostering innovation.

Dr. Ebenezer Agyemang emphasized KNUST's role in producing top-quality herbal practitioners.

This collaboration is expected to enhance industry growth and economic benefits, aligning with WHO's projection of a $5 trillion global herbal market by 2050.
