The Korle Bu Chapter of the Federation of Allied Health Professionals, encompassing various associations including medical laboratory scientists, physiotherapists, and radiographers, will suspend outpatient services at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital from August 2.
This action follows the hospital's refusal to establish an independent body to manage its operations.
Local chairman Dr. Francis Kwakye Antwi announced that if the position for Director of Allied Health is not advertised by midnight, a work-to-rule will start on Thursday, leading to a full strike by August 6, which could escalate to a nationwide strike if their demands remain unmet.
